Molalla Fire District is currently establishing a hiring list for Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic in coordination with Aurora Fire District, Canby Fire District, Hubbard Fire District and Woodburn Fire District.
The District is currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/EMT and Firefighter/Paramedic. The Application Process will close on April 30th, 2022, with possible testing dates of May 10th or 11th or 12th, 2022

Molalla Fire District in conjunction with Aurora Fire, Canby Fire, Hubbard Fire, and Woodburn Fire is establishing a hiring eligibility list. There will be no paper applications accepted during this process. All initial information will be gathered from NTN. You will be asked to upload files to NTN for documentation of the required and preferred qualifications. Molalla Fire District is a progressive fire district that runs two ALS ambulances out of the main station. The Fire District proper is 105 square miles with the ambulance service area being 350 square miles. Molalla Fires call volume has steadily increased over the past 5 years with this years projected call volume to be over 3,000.  Molalla Fire District has a salary range of $61,378.40 to $84,621.60 (after completion of three continuous years of employment for Firefighter). Firefighters are eligible for an 8% Paramedic incentive over base wage and will be immediately eligible for overtime associated with callback alarms, meetings, and training. However, they must wait six months before being able to work call shifts. Molalla Fire District provides an excellent benefit package with full medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with supplemental life insurance and a long-term disability plan. The Fire District also contributes to an Employees Deferred Compensation Plan and VEBA fund. The Fire District pays the Employees monthly contribution into the Public Employment Retirement System (PERS). Molalla Firefighters are represented by the Professional Firefighters of Clackamas County, IAFF local 1159
